An opportunity is available for a Craft Attendant based at Bodmin.
The successful candidate will be required to contribute with the repair, replacement, construction and alteration of assets.
Progression opportunities may be available for someone who demonstrates a desire to learn and undertake new tasks. To apply, you’ll need to have English GCSE (1-9 / G-A) or equivalent qualification deemed to be at the same level in this subject, such as Functional Skills.
Promote and demonstrate a culture of Health Safety & Quality at all times
Excavate, lay cable and backfill. Use mini excavator.
To provide first aid where required in accordance with training.
Resolve customer complaints, wherever possible directly.
Assess site risks, and take action to remove or avoid those risks.
Comply with safety instructions, use protective equipment and wear protective clothing.
The environment requires you to be able to react quickly, decisively and responsibly. You will also need to be flexible in your approach to assist the team in meeting its objectives. The role is suitable for someone who enjoys the demands of a physical outdoor environment.
You will need to be mobile throughout the area and you may also be required to undertake out of hours standby duties, therefore a full driving licence is desirable.
Some electrical experience would be an advantage, however full training will be given.
This role is subject to a satisfactory Barring Service, (DBS) check, depending on the role different levels of screening and vetting are required.
