The role of Account Manager is important to us. You will be responsible for retaining our customers, with dedicated accounts assigned to you, as well as upselling the broad product and services offered at VUE. You will be instrumental in increasing the sales and profits. You will monitor customer feedback closely to ensure the business delivers the best products and services and will also attend business events and exhibitions to learn more about their industry and network with other professionals and potential clients.
The position is based in our Salford office, with face-to-face meetings expected either in Salford or at our customer premises, so you need to be flexible and able to travel. 5 Monday to Friday.
Contacting customers using phone and email to gauge meetings
Preparing client presentations and materials, including PowerPoint and sales displays
Negotiating business terms with existing clients using phone, email and successfully convert to meet Sales Targets.
Working with Head of Account Management to set sales goals and ensuring these are met.
Working with senior management team members to manage risks.
Training the wider sales team members and customers on our products, hardware, and software
Attending networking opportunities including conferences, exhibitions, and industry events
Excellent customer service
· Good communication skills on the phone, in person and via e-mails
· Ability to explain complex systems in a clear and simple language
· Ability to organise and self-prioritise tasks, to follow leads through the sales process
