Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are working with a leading Manufacturer in Pontefract to recruit a Supply Chain Co-ordinator on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

Reporting into the Supply Chain Team Manager your main responsibilities will include

* Deputise for the Supply Chain Team Manager.

* Support the Administration of all aspects of production tracking, product & distribution to customers.

* Work with 3rd party production partners and Quality control to agree and coordinate production schedules against customer demand.

* Administer production purchase orders and allocate raw material stocks to each order.

* Take direction from the Supply Chain Team manager to support the day-to-day operation of the Supply Chain.

* Work to maintain and continuously improve the quality of service provided to customers.

* Support and cover colleagues across Supply Chain as and when workload/holidays dictate.

Typical Activities:

* Administer purchase orders with 3rd party production partners.

* Monitor agreed schedules with partners. Reacting where necessary to changes that may affect stock availability.

* Work closely with our key service providers to ensure stock availability for in-full, on time deliveries to customers

* Develop relationships with counterparts at partner sites.

* Deliver the customer charter principles and values.

* Other office administration as required.

The Person

* Experience within a supply chain role.

* Able to work autonomously.

* Enthusiastic about customer service with a desire to please and go the extra mile.

* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

* Proactive and capable of working individually as well as part of a wider team.

* Organised, logical and methodical.

* Ability to multi-task and cope with regularly changing priorities.

Desirable:

* Experience of Import & export.

* Experience of logistics.

* Experience of production scheduling, particularly within contract blending facilities.

* Experience with ERP systems specifically Business Central
