JOB ROLE: Accounts Assistant Purchase Ledger
Location: London
RDP LTD is a leading promotional merchandising company that partners with some of the world’s most renowned brands, including Disney, Universal, and Warner Bros. We specialise in creating high-quality promotional merchandise and licensed products, whether for retail or giveaways.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Assistant is responsible for the Purchase Ledger. The role requires all supplier accounts are correctly reported, the purchase order system operates in line with company policies and payments are made within payment terms. In addition, the role administrates the company credit cards and SAP systems and carries out additional finance duties as specified.
Controls
· Adherence and enforcement of all RDP company policies and procedures
Bank accounts
· Recording all bank receipts and payments
· Reconciliation of all bank accounts
· Ensure integrity of bank accounts
· Escalation of payment issues
Suppliers
· Check new supplier set-up through SAP and confirm credit terms
· Resolution of supplier queries
· Reconciliation of statements when required
Purchase Ledger
· Record all liabilities on SAP eg invoices, proformas & credit notes
· Prepare, process and get authorised supplier payment runs
· Balance sheet reconciliations
Reporting
· Send weekly status reports to management team
· Daily/weekly/monthly reports as defined
· Reports include information re cash outflow forecasts, bank balances and aged creditors
Ad hoc
· Day to day liaison with bank
· Manage staff expenses and company credit cards
Salary Range 30K-33K DOE
