Senior Site Manager - Brickwork - Residential New Build

A key client of Henry Martin Group are seeking a strong SSM to oversee the façade package on a huge residential development. This contractor are a gold award winner for "Investors in employees". They are have over 10 live sites within London currently valued over £40Mil. The facades on this development are traditional brickwork. Extensive brickwork knowledge is a key requirement. This position is in South East London.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record delivering façade packages from start to finish
  • Proven experience working with brickwork and masonry facades
  • Bricklaying/stonemason background is highly desired
  • At least 3 years experience as a SSM working for a major residential main contractor

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the design and construction of the building façade, ensuring that it meets aesthetic and functionality requirements
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that the façade is constructed correctly and on time
  • Develop and implement maintenance and cleaning schedules for the façade to ensure its longevity and appearance
  • Conduct regular inspections of the façade to identify any potential issues or improvements needed
  • Collaborate with building owners and stakeholders to address any concerns or questions related to the façade
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to building facades
  • Ensure that the façade meets all safety and regulatory standards
