Job Description

  • Managing and collecting debts from company debtors.
  • Evaluating new credit requests and conducting reviews of existing ones.
  • Communicating with customers in German and English.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on collection activities.
  • Working to tight deadlines to achieve collection targets.
  • Liaising with the sales and customer service teams to resolve outstanding queries.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful German Speaking Credit Controller should have:

  • Proficiency in German and English languages.
  • Solid understanding of credit control processes and principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Good knowledge of relevant accounting software.
  • A proven track record in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
