They are an established and respected contractor who take pride in the quality of their developments and have a number of repeat clients across Lancashire & Greater Manchester. They have been operating for over 50 years and due to their continued success and growth within the business they are now looking for a Planner to join their team in Lancashire. Areas of expertise include the Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Heritage & Leisure with projects valued anywhere between £5m - £15m. What's on offer? You will be reporting into the Senior Planner and will be responsible for the following duties: Tender's: Provide support to Preconstruction team and planning related topics required for the bid submission such as compiling Construction Programmes and Method Statements Analyse Tender documentation to understand scope and requirements to then produce robust logic linked accurate construction programmes Compile Scaffold Schedules to enable competitive quotations to be obtained Attend tender site visits with Estimator Hold discussions with specialist supply chain as required Provide assistance to the Estimator to compile a set of Prelims Contracts: Update Tender Programme to accommodate any changes and issue as Construction Programme Produce Procurement Schedule for all trades and major materials Produce Spend Profiles Produce Logistics Plans, Site Establishment Plans and Traffic Management Plans Produce Phasing Plans Produce Risk Registers Produce redline programmes as required by the Construction Team - this will be based on information provided by CM's, then highlight potential risks and mitigation Assist CM's with compilation of Progress Reports Produce short term programmes and Completion programmes as dictated by site Attend site meetings as required by the construction team Attend internal management meetings Produce As Built programmes as required based on site data Produce Construction Management Plans/Environmental Management Plans if Planning conditions dictate Assist with obtaining BREEAM credits as required Internal Labour workforce forecasting Produce weekly Current Contracts for Senior Management Required skills & knowledge: A degree or equivalent qualification in construction planning Prior experience working within a main contractor How to apply?
