Position overview:
The Senior Global Key Account Manager for customer in Europe drives volume, price and value across the full customer portfolio for specific Global customer/s, and develops new sales opportunities in order to grow sales revenues and contribute to margin and profitability increase. This is a critical position responsible for 30% of the business of the region, and managing the most strategic customer globally.
Key responsibilities include:
Develops a deep understanding of customer business in Europe, markets, brands' portfolio and strategy, needs and expectations and Balls competitive position
Achieves or exceeds sales targets for customer in Europe, as per identified sales strategy and budget directives
Owns day-to-day business management (forecast, orders, payments etc) and customer relationship
Ensures quick resolution of issues to improve effectiveness and customer satisfaction
Supports Director GKA in the development of the global strategy and the implementation of the joint business plan
Owns forecasting and reporting
Provides guidance to production planning through analysis of forecast data for her/his accounts.
Communicates variances to plan (assumptions, pricing, volumes) and shifts in strategy appropriately, in alignment with the Director GKA
Coordinates and communicates with various departments, including but not limited to Sales, Manufacturing, Marketing, Customer Service
Detects opportunities and promotes Ball's capabilities to grow the business through innovation and sustainability
Supports pricing strategy and identifies opportunities to improve margin
What are we looking for? 
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
Relevant working experience in Key account management
Relevant working experience in Packaging Industry
Sales and day-to-day negotiation
Account planning and complexity management
Customer focus, influencing, problem solving, conflict management and analytical skills
