We’re looking for a Licensing Officer to join our busy and dedicated Licensing Team to help deliver a critical statutory function that safeguards public safety, prevents exploitation and strengthen trust within our communities.

In this role, you’ll manage a varied caseload, deal with applications, investigate complaints, carry out inspections and take enforcement action where necessary. You are motivated by making a positive impact and safeguarding communities. You value inclusion, fairness and customer focus, ensuring everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Join Stockport Council’s Licensing Team and play a vital role in safeguarding the public. Our service covers a diverse range of statutory duties issuing licences for a wide range of regulated activities.
