Based in Middlesbrough, you’ll be at the heart of the heavy crane and transport operations, ensuring that the fleet moves efficiently, safely, and sustainably across the UK and beyond.

In this dynamic role, you'll be the key player in planning and optimising their transport operations. Imagine overseeing a fleet that includes some of the most advanced heavy haulage equipment in the world, where your decisions will keep the wheels turning on huge, industry-leading projects. You'll be working closely with subcontractors, ensuring smooth collaborations and cost-effective solutions that drive business operations forward.

Your role won’t just be about logistics – you’ll be championing the business’s commitment to safety, quality, and environmental responsibility. You'll have the opportunity to foster a culture of continuous improvement, suggesting innovative ideas that enhance processes and keep the organisation ahead of the curve. Running your own P&L and ultimately business unit, you will nurture this unit as if it were your own. Plus, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the FORS accreditation and ensuring the fleet meets all legal compliance standards.

But that's not all – you'll also play a key role in people management, providing clear and thorough job briefings, coaching team members, and making sure everyone is fully trained and ready to go. Your leadership will help build a team that operates at peak performance, every single day.
