Social Media and Influencer Lead | De’Longhi Group (De’Longhi, Kenwood and Braun) | Kenwood Global Headquarters, Havant, Hampshire | £Competitive + excellent benefits package
Could you lead the social media revolution at De’Longhi Group UK?
De’Longhi Group’s social media is a vital customer touchpoint. And while we’ve got an excellent following on key channels, we can always do better. We’re excited about the potential of our social media and influencer ecosystem to engage consumers and showcase our brand DNA.
We’re now seeking a highly skilled specialist to develop and own the strategy across our social media and influencer marketing, so that our channels and approach are well-defined, analysed and understood. This is an exciting opportunity to write and deliver innovative social strategy across multiple premium brands.
The role
Your role is about deciding where we go and what we do in a social media and influencer context, owning the 12-month plan across all channels and providing direction to the group. You’ll continually be planning and coordinating, for example as you work with category and omnichannel marketing teams to deliver and execute their part of the integrated plan.
On any given day, you could find yourself managing relationships with influencers, sending samples and advocating on behalf of our brands, identifying the influencers we ought to partner with and defining what our new content should look like. You'll also work closely with the customer care team to capture and channel consumer feedback on social media, and define how we respond to questions and issues.
You’ll shift your focus between the long-term plan and moment marketing, seizing opportunities to rapidly create and deploy content. You'll also work with agency partners to deliver your plan and execute projects effectively.
Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Setting and implementing multichannel rolling 12-month digital & social calendars, linked back to the Integrated Marketing Plan set by the Omnichannel Marketing Manager.
- Developing and executing the annual Social Media & Influencer plan in line with Omnichannel Marketing plans.
- Leading creation of content and copy for all De’Longhi brands for the different digital, social and influencer touchpoints – planned and reactive.
- Identifying, engaging and managing relationships with influencers to amplify brand reach, consideration and credibility.
- Driving acquisition of first-party data and Customer Database growth as managed in partnership with the E-commerce team.
- Working across other teams including CX, Customer Care and After Sales, providing digital support as required.
- Being a strong team player across the UK and Ireland subsidiary, in particular working collaboratively with a Performance Marketing Manager, Category Managers, Shopper Marketing and Direct (E-commerce) Team to achieve successful delivery.
About you
You’ll have demonstrable skill at setting a clear vision and strategy for social media and influencer marketing, and ensuring it aligns with a wider marketing plan.
You’ll be able to evidence a strong technical understanding of key digital platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook etc) and community platforms. You’ll be familiar with social media management/content calendar software, analytics dashboards and influencer analysis tools. You’ll be able to access and interpret the wealth of available influencer data and use it to inform your decision-making.
You’ll need to be positive, engaging, persuasive and comfortable working with colleagues across the group. Your first-class communication skills will include being able to deliver powerful presentations and write in a variety of styles, and you’ll have an understanding and a passion for how words and imagery can motivate people.
At the same time, you’ll be skilled at analysing performance to determine what works and where to focus. You must be able to make decisions quickly and respond to trends and changes within our markets, influencer ecosystem and media.
You will be the SME leading and coaching those around you in best practice, and you’ll need to build productive working partnerships for every part of your remit.
What’s in it for you?
You’ll have the opportunity to showcase premium brands on social media, highlight De’Longhi Group’s innovations and create more demand for our products. Your work will be fully-aligned with our broader omnichannel marketing strategy, and therefore a part of everything we do as a team. Our work environment and investment into staff is outstanding, and our extensive benefits include:
- Competitive incentivised salary
- Excellent contributory pension
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Superb subsidised restaurant
- Free on-site parking
- Flexible benefits package
- Access to a range of wellbeing activities and events
About us
De’Longhi Group is home to the De'Longhi, Kenwood and Braun Household brands—all pioneering kitchen and home appliance brands that are internationally recognised and respected. The De'Longhi Group, headquartered in Treviso, Italy, has international operations in more than 30 countries.
The location
Your reporting office will be Kenwood’s global HQ on the beautiful South Coast between Portsmouth and Chichester, where our products are conceived and tested, and where our UK De’Longhi division is based. We operate a flexible, hybrid working model: you’ll typically work three days at our office, client sites or warehouses and two at home. You should live within commuting distance, and since you’ll travel regularly to attend photoshoots and meet influencers, you must have a driver’s licence.
