Scope is routing of export cable and writing of documents for installation works.

Working from Taiwan on rotation 6:4 (6 weeks working 4 weeks off)- on site when on rotation 12 hours a day 6 days a week.

Locally normal schedule.

Position:

In the role of Project Engineer you'll be responsible for ensuring that the technical side of the project execution proceeds smoothly in line with the requirements and conditions by the company and the customer, the aim being to achieve the best possible project result. you will work alternately from our office during the preparation phase and the project locations during execution phase.

Task and responsibilities:

Contact person for the Project Manager, the project team and other stakeholders;

  • Preparing and implementing specific ( working) methods with risk analysis;
  • Providing coordination and advice in the event of technical problems;
  • Supervising subcontractors;
  • Reviewing and following up on the documentation for subcontractors and others;
  • Checking document control registers in order to be sure that work instructions, working methods and drawings have been issued.

Job requirements:

  • A Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering, preferably in Offfshore Engineering or Maritime Infrastructure;
  • At least 2 years relevant work experience, preferably in the offshore ( wind) industry;
  • Experience of supporting projects and managing external engineering and suppliers;
  • Good command of English, spoken and written;
  • Strong communication and social skills;
  • An independent, practical and creative person who can solve problems, dares to take decisions and is able to work in project teams;
  • Willing to spend shorter or longer periods of time abroad on a regular basis.
