Installation subsea assets manager

OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE: Acting as support to the Marine Department, working in the specific function of the Subsea assets management, to act mainly on engineering support, for both vehicles and projects.
This activity can be called Detailed Subsea Engineering for vehicles and project specific installation works.
Tasks are conducted in coordination with other colleagues of Installation Department with the aim of supporting the execution of the submarine systems projects awarded to Prysmian.
Prepare installation documentation for the project, mainly including:
o operative procedures specific of the burial tools working under projects portfolio
o time schedules of installation works
o risk assessments for installation activities
• Define, select, prepare installation assets (vessels, burial machines, general installation equipment), assisting the relevant Managers.
• Interact with project Clients, mainly on technical, planning, operative aspects, in conference telecommunications or direct meetings
• Prepare As-built documentation during project completion phase (usually called “Final Reports”), mainly gathering all reports, records, certificates, quality documents, etc issued throughout the project execution from all operative sites.
The duties contained in this job description are not exhaustive and the job holder may be asked by management to undertake reasonable duties associated with this function
Preferred to have a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees. Extensive management and project management experience.
Preferably experience in a role involved in installation of submarine cable but more in general in the construction industry
