Position: Teacher of Science (Permanent) Location: Secondary School, Chorley Start Date: September Salary: MPS/UPS (Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale) Spencer Clarke Group is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Science to join a thriving secondary school in Chorley. This is a permanent position starting in September, offering a salary in line with the Main Pay Scale and Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS). About the Role: As a Teacher of Science, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be expected to create engaging and innovative lesson plans that inspire a love for science, foster critical thinking, and promote academic excellence. Your role will include: Planning, preparing, and delivering outstanding lessons that cater to a range of abilities. Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of students. Establishing a positive and productive learning environment. Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies. Participating in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the school community. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Science or a related field. Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary school level. Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
