Manufacturing Engineering Manager

?Our client is a well established manufacturing company based just north of Dublin who are currently on the market for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
This is a key role within the company and offers and excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing professional looking to develop their career.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of multidisciplined engineers
- Manage product and process change activities, technology transfers while assuring continuity of supply.
- Work cross functionally & cross site to deliver finished product to the end customer.
- Lead projects to drive continuous improvement in key metrics in alignment with Lean, 6 Sigma, Design Robustness and Problem-Solving Principles
- Problem solve with a structured approach, using the team, complete all associated planning and design validation activity required to achieve the desired outcome.
- Deliver solutions to enhance product reliability and process capability.
- Participate in the continuous development of the quality system, including standard operating procedures (SOP's), workflow development, product and process validations coupled with the ability to write concise technical reports.
Criteria:
- NFQ Level 8 ( Degree) or Higher in relevant technical discipline (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronics, Engineering, or alternative) with 10 years relevant engineering experience.
- 5 years +’ experience in a relevant leadership position.
- Strong technical background (Mechanical / Electromechanical / Manufacturing)
- Structured analysis skills with experience in complex technical troubleshooting
- Excellent collaboration & communications skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Practical experience of supplier & manufacturing fabrication and assembly processes.
Salary is in the region of €80-85k with a benefits package including bonus scheme, healthcare, pension.
