Role: Management Accountant/ Finance ManagerRole Type: Interim (3 Months+) Location: Greater Manchester Salary: Up to £250 per day Industry: Education (Public sector) We're looking for an experienced finance professional to join a school in Manchester on a temporary basis for approximately 3 months, starting in January 2026. The role will involve key finance deliverables such as the monthly/ termly management accounts, VAT returns and day-to-day transactional postings. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly and termly management accounts. Complete VAT returns and ensure compliance with VAT regulations. Manage investment-related tasks. Handle day-to-day transactional postings. Support finance operations without any line management responsibilities. Requirements: Strong experience in management accounting. QBE or Part-Qualified ACCA or CIMA Solid understanding of VAT and related compliance. Familiarity with investment processes. Comfortable with transactional finance tasks. Ability to work independently and adapt to an interim role. Duration & Start Date Start: 5 January 2026 (to allow handover). Duration: Approximately 3 months.
