We are working with a membership body, who provide professional development, guidance and thought leadership, and work with regulators to champion high standards.

As Learning and Development Lead, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of the Institute's learning products. You will draw upon market intelligence from the Commercial teams with a strong focus on digital learning.

As Learning and Development Lead you will:

  1. Oversee the design, evaluation of all the learning content and products they offer, ensuring the content is high in standard, modern, and delivered in line with the organisations objectives.
  2. Work with the Education and Learning Operations Manager on setting budgets, KPIs, planning and resourcing for the department.
  3. Ensure quality assurance of all learning design and assessment materials.
  4. Line manage the L&D team.
  5. Lead on the mapping of all learning content and materials to the Institute's competency framework.

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Have a good understanding of the L&D function within the professional and membership body sector - supporting both qualifications and professional training.
  • A good understanding of design and delivery of long and short term learning products, courses and training programmes.
  • An understanding of digital learning platforms/Learning Management Systems.
  • High understanding of quality assurance, compliance, continuous improvement of learning content.
