Product Marketing Manager

We are partnered with a values-driven global construction company who have been on sustainable growth curve despite the challenging construction landscape - due to their consistency in delivering excellent products & services.

Now is the team to grow the marketing team - and we are searching for a driven and commercial Product Manager with a construction, building materials or manufacturing background.

This person will develop and drive the strategic direction and revenue growth from the portfolio of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a subject matter expert in customer requirements - define new opportunities and create a plan for delivery.
  • Build a network of engaged customers - utilise their businesses for market intelligence and insights.
  • Segment customer types and analyse job outcomes - use the data to plan the product strategy to align business goals.
  • Maintaining business values and commercial strategy - develop the portfolio proposition to drive revenue.
  • End to end management of the product lifecycle management.
  • Devise robust go-to-market strategy.
  • Work collaboratively across the marketing team and wider business units to deliver exceptional product marketing.
  • Review and evaluate campaigns to continuously improve performance.
  • Set KPIs for the marketing team - inspiring the team to keep delivering against metrics.
  • Ensure compliance to UK & EU standards for all packaging regulations.
  • Research pricing to meet margin aspirations.
  • Support the team in delivering all literature, leaflets, presentations, compliance documents and digital brochures.
  • Manage and mentor three direct reports.

To Be Successful:

  • CIM Qualified
  • Experience in successfully managing and mentoring a team.
  • Sector experience in building materials, manufacturing or construction.
  • Track record in delivering revenue growth and improved profitability across a product category.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
  • Natural analytical and commercial mindset.
  • Financially literate, having held budgets previously.
  • Demonstrable experience in bring new products to market.
