Promotion Operations Manager, Amazon Fresh

You will independently build a Promotion Operations function that will own the internal stakeholder and end-customer experience for each promotional period and seasonal event. A key deliverable for this role will be to develop an omnichannel promotional critical path that accommodates differences across each channel. Based on an aligned Trade Plan, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders across functions to execute promotions with a focus on ensuring continuous improvement. You will directly interact with Central Tech and Non-Tech stakeholders with the opportunity to develop entirely new solutions to complex problems. This position has regular exposure to leadership, a variety of tech teams and multiple business stakeholders and partner teams. Who we’re looking for: The right person in this role will be able to deal with ambiguity and take the lead in defining frameworks where no prior examples exist. They will be an ambitious self-starter with ability to operate independently and thrive in fast-paced environment. They will be will be obsessed with our customers, growing our understanding of their needs, vocally self-critical on where we can improve and building strategies to help them discover promotions that meet those needs. They will also be comfortable diving deep into understanding what good looks like across our categories and striving to deliver exceptional value for our customers A day in the life
The successful candidate will communicate effectively across teams and levels, while balancing the needs and requirements of internal and external customers. They should enjoy in-depth review of our own and market segment promotional performance and the impact it has on commercial performance and value perception. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key. This position requires a candidate with proven analytical skills with experience driving process improvement, thought leadership, and delivering results. About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in program or project management
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working with promotions and/or the Grocery sector
