HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist.
Advanced experience of microbiology.
Flexibility in your approach as there is the requirement to work out of hours and weekends.
Responsible for management of a technical section within the Department, directing the work of the other scientific and support staff in the day to day analytical provision of a high quality, cost effective service.
Provides and coordinates specialist clinical technical services including research and audit.
To provide a lead role in the training and instruction of staff within their section.

HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist
MSc in Medical Microbiology or equivalent
Significant experience working in UK Microbiology laboratory
Supervises BMSs and Medical Laboratory Assistants
Knowledge of Laboratory Accreditation and Quality Management Systems
Specialist knowledge and skills in Microbiology
