Hawksworth UK are partnering with a Global Insurance firm to find a ‘ Senior Pricing Analyst’ for Motor OR Home in the Research & Development (R&D) team. The position can be based in Croydon OR Birmingham with hybrid working (just x2 days a month required on site).

The Pricing Research & Development (R&D) Team is undertaking several major projects that will help us shape the insurance landscape of the future and we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Senior Pricing Analyst working on Motor or Home insurance products.

As a Senior Pricing Analyst in the Pricing R&D Motor or Home Team, you will use statistical modelling, machine learning techniques and insurance market knowledge to develop and implement price optimisation across our Motor and Home insurance product range. You’ll create and deliver your own plans for projects that bring together technical experts and communicate the results to stakeholders across the business. Drawing upon your existing experience in the field, this role is a great opportunity to step up to the next level in your career


years’ experience in Pricing Optimisation in the Financial / Regulated industry (ideally Insurance).
This should include GLMs (Generalised Liner Models) and tree-based GBMs (Gradient Boosting Machines).
of using software applications to analyse data and create predictive models preferably in a team environment. This can be with Python, or Radar & Emblem etc.
data handling skills such as producing summary statistics, transformations and visualisations, using software tools such as SQL, Python and Databricks.
