Development of new data extraction and reporting processes; orientating each project / task to deliver maximum business benefit whilst adhering Data quality, Coding standards, Validation frameworks and documentation standards as set out by Data Office & Data Governance teams
Ensuring any output (data, code, process) is aligned to the ongoing business strategies (i.e. future proofed)

Undertake a review and subsequently (where needed) redevelop, refactor & rationalise the legacy data and extraction & reporting jobs, code and processes
Working with the recipient business units to ensure the new code meets their current business goals and is aligned to their future business plans
Standardise routine processes for greater consistency, efficiency and control to deliver quality

People and Development
Act as mentor/coach to more junior members of Data Office team
Be a Technical Champion for data, SAS, SQL, Excel and all technical data & information related processes
Identify opportunities to drive efficiency and cost reduction through effective use of resource, data & process automation

Prior experience in working with large data sets in an analytics background.
Knowledge of SAS, SQL, Python and other Data Tools
Experience in managing projects with senior stakeholder involvement
Creative / Innovative approach to problem solving
