Shift Pattern: We’re supporting our client, a leading Technology manufacturer based in Telford, who are looking for a Building Services Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Building Services Engineer will have experience of preventative maintenance, installation and equipment functionality.
Position Overview: As a Building Services Engineer, you'll be a vital part of our operations, ensuring the seamless functioning of our equipment and facilities. Responsibilities for Building Services Engineer:
* Resolve reactive, planned, preventative and emergency maintenance requests submitted into the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to minimise equipment downtime as required.
* Lead installation work to the required standard, supporting site and process modifications including supplies and services to work equipment. Carry out mechanical/electrical installation in accordance with relevant regulations.
* Ensure knowledge sharing by capturing and training out key learning points to colleagues or others. Update the CMMS asset history by completion of Works Order information and spares / repair requirements. Health & Safety activities such as full and rapid risk assessments of tasks and occasional working under permit to work.
* Actively contribute to company Continuous Improvement activities including the business’ Production Way System, Kaizen, applying 5S standards in all areas and ensure all work is compliant with Health and Safety standards and risk assessments.
You will have a proven ability working as a high performing Building Services Engineer in a high-volume automated manufacturing environment, with experience of fault finding and repair on HVAC plant, electrical systems, BMS, pneumatic and energy monitoring systems.
* You’ll ideally hold a HNC in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), with City & Guilds 2800 Level 3 or equivalent (Maintenance Engineering), and City & Guilds 2382 - IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulation.
