Working within the Reinsurance Operations team, the successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders from across the organisation to streamline processes and help the team to surpass service level expectations. This is an exciting opportunity that will place the candidate in a leading position within the Lloyd’s Market. It is a 12 month, fixed term contract role. Key Responsibilities Having direct oversight of a dedicated Operations Analyst and Operations Technician based in the company's London office. Serving as the primary point of contact for the Underwriting Operations Manager, offering support in daily tasks and helping to oversee larger-scale project deliveries. Providing operational assistance across various departments, offering timely resolution to inquiries and actively monitoring trade entry systems. Proactively managing workflow processes, including overseeing month-end operations. Generating internal reports promptly and accurately to meet the needs of stakeholders, whilst contributing to operational efficiencies. Monitoring daily operational performance and underwriting controls, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and governance policies. Playing a key role in communicating and executing the company's Operations strategy, aligning efforts with broader organisational goals. Engaging with Underwriters, Brokers and other stakeholders to promptly resolve operational challenges. Providing necessary information to internal and external auditors in a proactive manner. Offering proactive support to Analysts and Technicians within the Operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment across the company's London and Bermuda offices. Key Requirements Previous experience within an Operations role in the Lloyd's London Market. Strong numerical skills, with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency with Excel and experience with reporting software. Ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of an organisation.
