Your New Role as Senior Finance Manager: Receiving support and guidance from the Head of Finance, as Senior Finance Manager your duties will include:
  • Line management of 1 member of staff
  • Preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Ensure necessary returns, reports and submissions are completed accurately and on time – VAT, PAYE, NI, pensions etc.
  • Working closely with budget holders to provide meaningful financial information and advice
  • Assist with ongoing development of existing systems and processes
  • Support growth initiatives
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply: To be considered you will be proven in a similar level role with strong accounting and budget setting/monitoring capabilities. Strong communication skills are pivotal as this role involves regular liaison with various non-finance stakeholders. Experience within the Education sector is desirable but not essential and you will be able to quickly adapt and pick up new systems and processes.
