Fire Extinguisher Engineer Job Description
Our client now has an opportunity for a field-based Fire Extinguisher Engineer to cover a geographical area around the Cambridge area and will be required to travel to London and the Midlands. The main goal of this role is to carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, and repairs of Fire extinguishers and Fire Blankets. As a Fire Extinguisher Engineer, your work is essential, keeping our customer sites safe and secure, whilst maintaining our client’s reputation and profitability.
What will I be doing as a Fire Extinguisher Engineer?
* The Fire Extinguisher Engineer will carry out routine servicing, testing, and inspection, of Fire safety equipment and products to relevant legislative and Company qualitative standards
* The Fire Extinguisher Engineer will identify and follow through on sales opportunities within your area of responsibility
* The Fire Extinguisher Engineer where required, you will plan and organize your own work programme to ensure that it is carried out in an efficient and organized way
* The Fire Extinguisher Engineer will share technical and problem-solving ability skills and knowledge with colleagues in the team
* The Fire Extinguisher Engineer fully understands and comply with any site-specific H & S requirements and/or training relevant to a site being worked on
* The Fire Extinguisher Engineer must be at least 25 years of age, for driving insurance purposes.
* The Fire Extinguisher Engineer must have at least 2 years of experience
* The Fire Extinguisher Engineer must have a UK passport.
