We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of Fire Protection Specialist at Empro Consultants in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing fire-resistant materials to prevent the spread of fire within Social Housing and council properties. This role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of fire safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install fire-resistant materials such as sealants, fire barriers, fire blankets, and fireproof partitions
- Batt and Mastic work, as well as sealant barriers and curtains
- Inspect buildings to identify areas that require fire stopping measures
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installations
- Work closely with other construction professionals to ensure compliance with fire safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection
- CSCS Card
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to fabricate materials to fit specific spaces
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations and best practices
