Smyth & Co. is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Junior Sous Chef at our client’s high-end Italian restaurant in London. This esteemed establishment offers a casual fine dining experience, featuring exquisite Italian cuisine with fresh pasta made in-house and seasonal produce sourced from local suppliers.

Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Prepare and cook dishes with a focus on fresh pasta and seasonal produce.
Support menu development, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist in the training and development of kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.

Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a high-end Italian restaurant, 2/3 Rosette level is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, with expertise in fresh pasta and seasonal produce.
Experience in food costing, rotas, and health & safety.
Ability to manage a high-volume kitchen while maintaining exceptional quality.
Passion for creating outstanding Italian dishes with a commitment to using local and seasonal ingredients.
