The position of Senior Chartered Structural Engineer is a great opportunity for the right person to take an active role in the consultancy with enormous potential for personal development and growth.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE The ideal candidate will also have: Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer. At least three years post chartered experience in structural design of steel, concrete, timber structures and foundations. Track record of producing cost-effective and well-coordinated design. Experience with 3D BIM modelling using Revit. Working knowledge of AutoCAD to facilitate transfer of information. Able to work independently and lead on projects. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Knowledge of Building Regulations. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Evidence of producing practical and buildable solutions. Some site experience would be preferred. Tangible business development experience. This is an opportunity to work alongside and learn from an accomplished Civil Engineer, with a breadth of experience from 25 years running his own practice following 16 years serving with The Royal Engineers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION The ideal candidate will have an agile approach to both structural engineering and business. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is personal ambition for development Driving licence and own car is required.

The successful candidate would be expected to hit the ground running and blend with the existing team well.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT Flexible working is available, with a requirement to work a minimum of 22 hours a week from the Erigo offices. As a family run business, they understand the need for flexibility around family or other commitments without one compromising the other. Ideally living not more than an hours commute from Stonegate/Ticehurst in East Sussex
