Job Description:

As a Founder in Residence at Cifra, you will have the unique opportunity to develop, launch, and scale new consumer-facing companies. This role is ideal for experienced entrepreneurs who have a passion for creating innovative products and services that delight consumers. You will work closely with our leadership team, advisors, and a network of investors to turn your vision into reality.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ideation and Concept Development: Identify and explore new business ideas in the consumer space. Conduct market research to validate concepts and assess market potential.
  2. Business Planning: Develop comprehensive business plans, including value propositions, target market analysis, competitive landscape, revenue models, and go-to-market strategies.
  3. Product Development: Lead the development of MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) and iterate based on user feedback. Collaborate with designers and developers to bring products to life.
  4. Fundraising: Work with our investment team to prepare pitch decks and secure seed funding. Engage with potential investors and partners to raise capital for your startup.
  5. Team Building: Assemble a talented team to support the growth and development of the new venture. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and management of team members.
  6. Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute effective marketing and sales strategies to launch the product and acquire early customers. Utilise digital marketing, social media, and other channels to drive growth.
  7. Scaling Operations: Optimise business operations for scalability. Implement processes and systems to support rapid growth and expansion.
  8. Mentorship and Collaboration: Collaborate with other founders, mentors, and advisors within our ecosystem. Share knowledge, insights, and best practices to foster a culture of learning and innovation.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience as a founder, co-founder, or senior leader in a startup, particularly in the consumer-facing sector.
  2. Demonstrated success in taking a product from concept to market.
  3. Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and take calculated risks.
  4. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to develop and articulate a clear vision and execute on it.
  6. Strong understanding of product development, user experience, and customer acquisition strategies.
  7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Experience in fundraising and building relationships with investors.
  9. Ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  10. Passion for creating products that improve the lives of consumers.
