The Role

We are seeking a Sales & Business Development Director to drive revenue growth, strengthen client relationships, and identify new market opportunities. This role requires a dynamic, strategic leader with exceptional sales, negotiation, and industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share in sheet metal fabrication and laser cutting .
  • Identify and capitalize on high-value business opportunities through networking and market research.
  • Manage and grow £500K+ key accounts , ensuring strong customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, industry leaders, and internal teams.
  • Deliver engaging corporate-level presentations that highlight our expertise.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to client visits, negotiations, and deal closures.
  • Work closely with Sales, Production, and Quality teams to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Provide regular reports on performance, market trends, and competitor activity to the Managing Director .
  • Ensure ongoing post-sales engagement through follow-ups and on-site client visits.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven success in B2B sales, business development, or account management within manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering.
  • Industry experience in metals, pressings, or fabrication is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate engineering drawings effectively.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills .
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical understanding and problem-solving abilities. ESSENTIAL
