We are recruiting a Legal Cashier/Accounts Assistant for a permanent opportunity with a well-regarded law firm in Glastonbury.
You will have a full understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules and be able to apply that knowledge to ensure Compliance of all Financial Transactions.
Operation of Company Online Banking to process the day-to-day financial transactions; for both the Client and office account;
Banking of receipts and taking credit card payments from clients, to include daily reconciliations and balancing of all statements/accounts
Client Ledger Management: to maintain accurate records in accordance with the SRA Accounts Rules, recognise and dealing with discrepancies.
Maintaining accounting records as required.
Running of and reconciling Purchase Ledger,
Monthly Reports - Generate (and balance) end of month financial reports.
Assisting the Accounts Manager with the supply of information during our Annual SAR Audit.

~ 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays
