We are recruiting for an experienced Business Development professional to work throughout the North West of England, with direct experience in the training sector for a National Awarding Body & EPA Organisation. The ideal individual should have direct experience representing an EPA Organisation or Awarding Body. Individuals with extensive experience within the Apprenticeship sector would also be considered.

The role holder is responsible generating new business to support the strategic expansion of products and services across FE and Training Provider networks, while also maintaining and increasing existing customer expenditure through the demonstration of high levels of market intelligence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that our customers receive the highest levels of service and support

• Secure new and existing business in accordance with the financial budget

• Engage customers to maximize their educational offerings through the use of products

• Support growth through the development of new and existing products

• Contribute to strategic development through business and financial planning and review

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business operations

• Conduct all business activity in accordance with values and behaviours while maintaining compliance with appropriate regulatory bodies/authorities

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Excellent communication and relationship development skills

• Excellent sales acumen with the ability to sell consultatively

• Ability to contribute to and present at internal and external sales meetings

• Excellent administration and organizational skills

• Excellent ICT skills and knowledge

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

• Experience of working in the regulatory qualifications sector/environment

• Demonstrate keeping up with sector developments through regular and appropriate CPD
