We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Secondary School Welfare Officer starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the welfare and well-being of our students, working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support.
Develop and implement strategies to promote student well-being and mental health.
Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies related to student welfare.
Relevant qualifications in social work, counselling, or a related field.
Experience working with young people in a welfare or pastoral role, preferably within a school setting.
Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to student well-being.
Demonstrated commitment to education and personal growth.
