Job Description Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experience Category Buyer/Procurement Manager to join our industry leading Asset Services team.

The principal purpose of the role is to oversee specific Categories of spend, Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Performance activities for specific subcategories of spend.

This role will act as one of the primary points of contact for the organisation regarding category management, and will consult and take input from the Category Manager, Procurement Manager, as well as business unit stakeholders to formulate and execute client focused objectives.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing contract life cycles and negotiations of suppliers delivering category management across the dedicated portfolio
  • Managing tenders and tender analysis
  • Performing financial analysis and bench marking
  • Monitoring and managing vendor performance
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and facilities managers
  • Act as a primary point of contact in dispute resolution
  • Management of our third-party vetting consultants

Experience Required:

  • Must have between two to five years of relevant procurement and supply management experience
  • Experience within Property or Facilities Management (“FM”) preferable
  • Professional certification e.g. CPSM, CIPS, evidence of continued professional growth
  • Experience in procurement/contract management of soft and/or hard services, facilities management and/or property management is desirable.
  • Knowledge of contract law and its application in the purchasing process
  • Experience in contract negotiation and managing KPI /contractor performance
  • An ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders and build strong working relationships
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS office in addition to numerical and analytical skills
