Contract Type: Fixed Term
We Are Seeking Experienced And Proactive HR Advisers To Join Our HR Team On Fixed-term Contracts. 12-month Fixed Term – Pay & Reward (Secondment Cover) - 37 Hours per week
12-month Fixed Term – Employee Relations (Secondment Cover) - 37 Hours per week
9-month Fixed Term – Pay & Reward (Absence Cover) - 26 Hours per week (pro rata)

Develop, review, and implement HR policies to ensure legal compliance and operational efficiency
Ensure HR procedures comply with current employment legislation and sector-specific guidance
Contribute to strategic workforce planning and reward benchmarking activities
Employee Relations
Lead and support organisational change management projects, including restructures, service redesigns, and transformation initiatives
Handle complex employee relations casework (approximately 10% of the role), including disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters
Support managers through change processes with coaching, guidance, and practical tools
Experience in pay and reward practices and policy development
Knowledge of local government pay frameworks (Green Book, Grey Book, Soulbury, Teachers)
For Employee Relations
Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
