The school seeks to challenge mind sets and help its pupils to have a true sense of belonging in their school and wider community whilst celebrating success every step of the way. The school is seeking a passionate team player to take on this long-term role, although there is potential for this to become a permanent role for the right SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA. The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / LSA will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children’s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school. The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with diagnosis of SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties and PMLD / Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. The A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary. The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA will have:

  • Experience working with children with additional needs / disabilities
  • Experience working with students with with SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties and PMLD / Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.
  • Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications desirable
