Oliver Wyman is now looking to recruit a Regional Head of Human Capital Management, UK & Ireland – this is 15 month maternity-cover contract, to start in October/November 2024

This is a hybrid role that requires 60% working from our London Baker Street office.

This Regional Head Human Capital Manager for UK & Ireland role supports a specific population on Human Capital (HC) related activities, including employee engagement, employee relations, performance management support, policy and procedure development and implementation. You will have oversight and management for a team that deliver proactive and business focused HR advice and services for the UK and Ireland (a headcount of circa 750).

In addition to working very closely with the local Office and Market Leaders in the region, the Regional Head Human Capital Manager for UK & Ireland will work closely with a number of other colleagues in order to deliver on the broad responsibilities of the HC team. This broader group includes, but is not limited to the COO, Support Professional and Consulting Practice Group Talent Managers, Practice Group Leaders, local and Global HC teams and the HR leadership within MMC.

Leading and managing our UK & Ireland HR function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services and support to the organization (a headcount of circa 750).
Developing and implementing HC strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's objectives and promote a positive work culture.
Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters, including employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, and policy development.
This role will suit someone who has worked within a large multinational organsiation, especially someone from the management consultancy, professional services or financial services sectors
You’ll have proven people management experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
Experience of Workday is highly advantageous
