The role of Trainee Management Accountant within the Telematics business unit is a great opportunity to start or develop your career in finance. You’ll report to the Financial Controller and work closely with the Accounting & Financial Control team, learning how to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including basic profit & loss and balance sheet reconciliations.
Helping to produce financial reporting packs and commentary for review by senior finance colleagues.
Supporting the team in comparing actual performance to budgets and forecasts, preparing simple variance analysis.
Assisting with year-end processes, including preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation.
Providing ad hoc analysis and support to the Financial Controller.
Collaborating with central teams (Group, Tax, Compliance) as needed.
Studying towards a finance qualification (AAT, ACCA, or CIMA) or keen to start.
Some prior experience to finance or accounting (e.g., through studies, work experience, or an accounts assistant role) is required.
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and willing to learn new systems.
