Specification Technologist Food Manufacturing
Are you passionate about food quality and safety? I am recruiting on behalf of a food manufacturer who are looking for a dedicated Specification Technologist to contribute to their commitment to excellence in the food industry.

In this role, you will report directly to the Technical Compliance & Customer Manager, while working with various departments to enhance and maintain their Quality Management System. Your efforts will be key in New Product Development, Existing Product Development, and managing Customer Specification Systems for both product packaging and raw materials.

Ensure Quality & Compliance: Support external audits by ensuring complete traceability from supplier to end customer and assist in GMP hygiene and internal audits.
- Work closely with their Food Technologist and other teams to manage risk assessments, specifications for raw materials, and supplier compliance.
- Maintain the raw material supplier database and keep customer portals accurate and up to date with relevant information.
- Develop and maintain product specifications, assess ingredient suitability and compliance, and manage related systems and databases.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in capturing and coordinating responses during food safety alerts.

A proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in the food industry.
- Experience with quality management systems and supplier compliance.
- Deep understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
