What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and developing team members, providing consistent leadership, and fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery. Your duties will include:
- Leading a team to build psychologically informed relationships with young people
- Providing leadership in line with Centrepoint's values and promoting a culture of teamwork
- Proactively engaging with young people to develop positive relationships and inspire them daily
- Driving continuous improvement to ensure exemplary service standards
- Co-producing holistic support plans and risk management strategies with team members
- Meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators while maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding practice
- Forging and maintaining effective partnerships with stakeholders and support agencies
- Creating trauma-informed services centered around the safety and well-being of young people
- Demonstrating commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery
What We Will Be Looking for From You:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualities and experience:
Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience in delivering services to people with complex needs within the Housing First model or similar floating support/ assertive outreach to people with complex needs and challenging behaviour.
- Understanding of approaches suitable for working with young people with complex needs, including learning disabilities, mental health issues, substance use, and challenging behavior
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams in a fast-paced environment and navigating challenging situations professionally
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships with service users, colleagues, and stakeholders across sectors
- Experience in raising safeguarding concerns and implementing associated action plans
- Leadership experience in delivering trauma-informed services for young people
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Exceptional leadership and people management abilities
- High level of numeracy, literacy, and IT proficiency
- Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in written communication and report writing
