We have an amazing opportunity within our Marketing Department for a Digital Designer. This is a full-time role, working hybrid with minimum of 3 days working in our Leeds city centre office.
Creative Digital Solutions: Design innovative digital assets, including website layouts, UI/UX elements, paid and social media graphics, email templates, promotional banners, and digital advertising materials.
Brand Ambassador: Ensure brand consistency across all client deliverables, acting as a key advocate for the brand’s visual identity across multiple platforms.
E-commerce & Web Design: Develop and design e-commerce platforms, product landing pages, and web assets tailored for optimal customer experience and conversion.
Collaborative Design Process: Work closely with the creative and marketing teams, contributing ideas, receiving feedback, and incorporating changes to ensure high-quality, on-brand designs.
Engage with suppliers to understand their vision, providing regular updates, and ensuring projects align with their goals and expectations.
Cross-Platform Design: Work on various deliverables across web, email, paid and social media, creating consistent visual content for each channel.
Project Management: Manage multiple design projects from initial brief through to final production, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Produce detailed design specifications and handovers to development teams to ensure seamless implementation of your designs.
Design Tools: Utilise design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.) and other digital platforms to produce high-quality assets.
Photography Support: Assist with the planning, execution, and post-production of photoshoots to produce compelling product and brand visuals for online and offline channels.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and industry best practices, bringing fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the table.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a commercial or agency-side design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work across digital design projects (e-commerce, websites, email campaigns, social media, etc.).
Design Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), with additional knowledge of web design tools like Figma or Sketch considered a plus.
Brand & Visual Design: A keen eye for typography, colour theory, and composition, ensuring designs are visually compelling and on-brand.
E-commerce Knowledge: Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and how to design for optimal user experience and conversion.
UI/UX Design: Strong understanding of user interface and experience principles, with a focus on creating intuitive, engaging digital designs.
Email & Social Media Design: Experience creating email marketing campaigns, social media graphics, and digital ads optimised for performance and engagement.
Project Management: Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver them on time without compromising quality.
A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new tools and techniques to further develop your design skills.
Experience with front-end development or familiarity with HTML/CSS for better collaboration with web development teams.
Experience with commercial email platforms (e.g., Understanding of digital marketing principles, including conversion optimisation and customer journey mapping.
Knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a plus.
