Are you passionate about travel, adventure, and building meaningful brand partnerships? We're seeking a dynamic and creative Brand Partnership Executive to join our team at TruTravels. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of forging strategic partnerships with influencers, brands and communities that align with Tru’s core values, while also driving business development initiatives to expand our reach and target audiences whilst reporting into our Head of Partnerships. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, passionate about travel and wants to use their experience within the industry to spread the Tru word further

What you’ll do

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Nurture and maintain relationships with existing partners, influencers, and brands to foster long-term collaborations and mutual success. Act as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring there’s good vibes all round.
  • Partnership Development: Identify, approach, and negotiate with influencers, content creators, and brands aligned with our target audience and brand values. Cultivate and maintain relationships to drive mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities for revenue generation and market expansion. Develop innovative partnerships and revenue streams to drive business growth through collaborative affinity partners.
  • Influencer Marketing: Develop and execute influencer marketing campaigns to amplify our brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive customer acquisition. Work alongside the marketing team to create authentic and compelling content that resonates with our community.
  • Brand Collaborations: Work under our Head of Partnerships to learn, negotiate, and execute brand collaborations and co-branded initiatives. Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of partner brands into our tours and marketing campaigns.
  • Work alongside the sales team to hit brand partnership sales targets and KPI’s. This is a sales driven role as we grow our partnerships department.
  • Report into our Head of Partnerships, industry trends and biweekly sales performance of affinity partners and influencer collaborations. Bring forward innovative ideas on how we can grow this department.
  • Work alongside our finance department to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and operations, to align partnership and business development activities with broader business strategies. Champion partnership initiatives and ensure alignment with brand identity and messaging.
  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and consumer behaviour within the youth travel space. Use insights to inform partnership and business development strategies and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in brand partnerships, business development, influencer marketing, or related roles within the travel industry.
  • Strong network of influencers, content creators, and brand contacts within the youth travel or relevant sectors.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working in relationship management
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for youth culture and travel.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with expense budgets.
  • Flexibility to travel and attend events as needed.
