As part of our ongoing growth, TECOSIM is looking to expand our dynamic Engineering Team in the United Kingdom. Our team is at the forefront of assisting numerous European and American automotive OEMs, as well as Tier 1 suppliers, on a variety of projects. Our work ranges from exclusive hypercars to high-volume passenger and commercial vehicles destined for global markets.

Position Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, testing, and manufacturing, to integrate CAE analysis into the product development lifecycle.
  • Familiar with CAE software tools such as ANSA, HyperWorks or similar to support the analysis and optimisation of designs for weight reduction, performance enhancement, and cost efficiency.
  • Familiar with object-based databases.
  • Set up and organise meetings with both clients and suppliers to support project delivery

Skills required

  • Proficient in managing and addressing design progression issues between stakeholders
  • Be able to explain all technical elements which are being tracked in simple terms
  • Be able to summarise and present technical issues and/or resolutions
  • Strong understanding of finite element analysis (FEA) and other CAE techniques.
  • Familiarity with Mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Good interpersonal skills, energetic, positive, and engaging

Education/Experience required

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field

Additional Information

Hybrid working, 3-4 days on-site (5 days on-site during 6-month probation)
