Salary: £66,950 per annum + Bonus + Company Car/ allowance + Amazing Benefits
8am- 5:00pm Monday- Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch)

An exciting opportunity has become available at NRG Riverside within our Leeds depot and we are looking for an experienced Depot Manager to join the team and help us on our journey to growth. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and effectively leading and managing all departments within the depot maintaining a good level of operational management, team management, budgeting and costs, safety and compliance, customer care, and quality standards and monitoring.
NRG Riverside is the UK’s largest municipal and specialist fleet hire company, we provide specialist vehicles on short and long-term hire, a range of vehicle maintenance packages and we offer a large portfolio of high-quality used vehicles for sale. Established in 1996, we’ve supported our valued customers to rationalise and decarbonise their fleets, save money and improve efficiency by reducing ‘Vehicle Off Road’ (VOR) time.
Experience from within a similar role as a Depot Manager within the HGV Industry
~5 yrs experience in a HGV workshop management position. (Experience in managing the day-to-day activities of a Commercial Vehicle Workshop
~ Technical background in respect of commercial vehicle repair
~ Financial management experience, in particular KPI reporting, P&L responsibilities
~ Experience in the Waste & Recycling industry would be great, but not essential
~ As the Depot Manager you will be responsible for the overall management of the depot and its teams, ensuring optimum productivity is maintained at all times
Management of Line Managers with the responsibility of their coaching and development, one-ones, development plans, absence management and performance management etc. Setting expectations and responsibilities throughout the depot in line with operational requirements
Monitoring productivity throughout each department ensuring optimum levels are maintained, taking action when this fails
Ensure the depot and its teams are adhering to health and safety regulations and that knowledge of health and safety policies is passed to every employee
Maintaining a high level of customer care throughout the depot through ensuring partnerships with customers and suppliers are nurtured and that customer’s needs are consistently met
Ensure the depot is fully committed to delivering service excellence
Ensure the depot is adhering to quality standards and monitoring as well as ensuring all staff are up to date with relevant legislation
Monitoring of all depot financial/ operational costs and influencing its effect on profit and loss
Excellent depot based bonus of up to £4,500
