Purpose of Role :
Vistra are looking for an Associate to join the Private Equity & Real Estate team in a client facing role, to assist with the provision of company secretarial, administration and client services across a portfolio of Private Equity (PE) & Real Estate (RE) fund clients.
Scope :
This will be a client facing role, and you will be part of the PE RE operations team at Vistra UK. You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and company secretarial tasks, as well as proactively supporting the day-to-day communications with a designated portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work on day-to-day company secretarial, administration and other client service provisions for a portfolio of PE RE clients under the guidance of the Senior Manager.
- Assist with ad hoc administrative and basic company secretarial tasks including drafting minutes/resolutions, attending to queries from other stakeholders such as auditors, legal advisors and third-party service providers ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Assist in maintaining corporate records and company registers in line with relevant requirements.
- Assist and support in matters relating to due diligence for clients and investors, for example, client onboarding and ongoing client file reviews.
- Assist with capital call/subscription and distribution/redemption processes and management of the related cash transactions where required.
- Confidently be able to discuss company secretarial, administration and cash management related matters with clients, banks and other third parties.
- Assist with timely and accurate invoicing and debt collection in close collaboration with the internal finance team and PE RE colleagues.
- Work in close collaboration with other colleagues in other Vistra locations to ensure that excellent client service is delivered.
- Ensure that Vistra Group policies and procedures are always adhered to.
- Assist in PE RE team projects.
- Any other duties that broadly fall outside the scope of those outlined above but which are reasonably compatible with this job description and its objectives.

- A basic understanding of UK AML requirements.
- A basic understanding of the UK Companies Act and UK Company Law.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Relevant Experience :
- 2+ years’ experience in a relevant client facing role
Education & Professional Qualification :
Essential:
- Educated to A Level standard.
- Previous practical client administration and/or company secretarial experience in a financial institution or professional services firm.
Desirable
- Studying or part qualified under the CGI or other relevant company secretarial qualification. University degree.
