Our client are a highly successful mortgage brokerage based in central London. They specialise in the HNW arena and have extensive experience in this field.
A unique opportunity has is now available to join this team in the capacity of Mortgage Paraplanner.
This role will pay a base salary up to £50,000. After a 6 month period you will also be able to benefit from bonuses awarded for helping to get business over the line. This will equate to one of the leading packages around for a non selling role of this kind.
They require people with experience as either a mortgage paraplanner, mortgage administrator or mortgage adviser (May suit an adviser looking to come away from direct selling ). Given the responsibilities of the role they would be looking for motivated individuals who have at least 3 years experience and can demonstrate a sound knowledge of mortgage process.
Document Preparation
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive mortgage application documentation
- Review client information and financial documents to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Organise and maintain client files in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare credit paper proposals for Private Banks
- Create client options documents
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence
- Ensure that all mortgage applications comply with regulatory requirements
- Prepare suitability reports and ESIS
- Client ID and AML checks
- Preparation of client files and maintain suitable records on Nextcloud as well as the company’s internal Mortgage Business Register
Paraplanning & Administrative Support
- Processing and submitting mortgage applications
- To deliver an effective and competent level of mortgage administration, resolving and escalating when appropriate
- Discuss cases with lenders and private banks
- Updating our CRM system (Salesforce & Hubspot)
- To have organisational skills and the ability to work under your own initiative
- Source and prepare options documents
- Request and ensure receipt of all necessary documentation from the client and check that all information is accurate, up-to-date and in line with the Fact Find and Application Form
- Maintain and update lender matrix table which has over 300 lenders worldwide
- Write up case studies on trophy cases that have completed
