Job Title: Senior Procurement Lawyer
Location: Cardiff or London (Flexible Working Available)
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a prominent commercial law firm with a strong consultancy arm with offices across the UK including London. Our client provides top-tier legal services to clients across the private, public, and third sectors, both in the UK and internationally. Known for their commitment to excellence, they take a unique approach to delivering comprehensive legal solutions.

They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Lawyer to join their dynamic Public Law team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in public procurement law who can provide expert legal advice and help clients navigate complex regulations while developing robust procurement policies and procedures.

Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of the procurement process, including procurement regulations and best practices.
Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
Draft and review procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
Advise clients on procurement strategies to mitigate risks and enhance compliance.
Support clients through procurement disputes and, ideally, provide advice in procurement litigation.
Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered) with proven experience in public procurement law.
Experience in procurement litigation is desirable but not essential.
A commercial mindset with some exposure to business development and client relationship management.
