Job Description The job holder is an HR professional responsible for onboarding, offboarding, company culture and employee engagement. The HR specialist collaborates and assists the HR Director to take a strategic approach to internal communications and assists the HR Director to design, develop and execute the HR strategy to support a healthy workplace that supports employees’ growth and performance in alignment with the corporate’s business objectives. Position description: Employee Engagement

  • Work with HR Director on establishing a strategic plan for the organization’s growth, productivity, and ability to attract and retain valuable employees and explore creative ideas with the HR Director and implement suitable initiatives to support employee engagement.
  • Work with HR Director to identify opportunities and develop an employee recognition programme.
  • Work with HR Director to lead the development and execution of employee engagement programs and foster the company’s culture ensuring all initiatives/activities are promoted and delivered.
  • Develop, evaluate and execute internal communication plans to ensure the vision, values, initiatives, and organizational information are communicated regularly and effectively.
  • Organize employee engagement events (i.e. office birthday parties), special events, and team-building events.
Onboarding
  • Assist HR Director to create a system design to streamline and automate the onboarding process where possible.
  • Organise pre-onboarding preparation in line with the company’s process and SLA providers.
  • Enhance the new employees’ onboarding experience through welcoming communication with clear instructions before their induction day in order for them to understand what they can expect on their first day and attend to any relevant enquires that they may have.
  • Deliver the welcome session and monitor new employees’ induction training.
  • Edit new employees’ self-induction and circulate the new employees' position and contact details amongst all colleagues.
  • Conduct RTW checks.
Offboarding
  • Communicate with the leaver’s line manager to understand the leaver’s situation before starting the offboarding process.
  • Organise and monitor the offboarding process, trigger relevant tasks to offboarding SLA providers.
  • Prepare relevant exit correspondence with the departing employee.
  • Have clear and friendly communication with departing employees and attend to any queries and concerns pertaining to the offboarding process.
  • Regularly update and monitor the leaver’s tracker on Asana.
  • Produce the exit interview meeting minutes.
  • Produce departing employee analysis report on a quarterly basis.
  • Submit leaver’s application on the OA system.

  • Communicate with employees to identify what they value the most; design and implemented suitable and creative employee benefits initiatives.
  • Support employees with their enquiries regarding their benefits.

Company Culture Assist the HR Director:
  • to define, structure and maintain an attractive and positive employer brand and help to design, develop and implement the company’s diversity initiatives.
  • Contribute to organize a series of relevant training for managers to communicate employer brand values and standards to the members of their teams.
  • Coordinate activities to create a quarterly HR newsletter as a medium to promote a positive company culture.
HR Admin
  • Issuing relevant company reference and verification letters.
  • Response to reference checks for departed employees.
  • Make purchases for office activities and team-building events; order employee presents according to different occasions.
  • Receive parcels and packages and check items received against POs.
  • Liaise with the finance team at the HQ to organise payments to vendors.
  • Maintain various files and records of information such as budget, correspondence, activity and reports.
  • Raise POs or BPM via the company’s OA system.
  • Meeting room bookings.
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Has a minimum of 3 years working in Human Resources
  • Able to speak Mandarin Chinese
  • Has their CIPD Level 5
