About our Offshore Wind team: Haskoning is the UK’s leading environmental offshore wind consultancies, with 20 years experience of supporting our offshore wind clients. Due to an extensive and growing portfolio of offshore wind work, both within the UK and internationally, we are looking to expand our team and are seeking enthusiastic, optimistic, conscientious and talented people with excellent communication skills and proven technical ability to join our offshore wind team. Due to continued growth in a variety of markets including offshore wind (where we have been successfully appointed as the EIA consultant for Gwynt Glas and providing onshore discharge of consents support to Mona and Morgan offshore wind farms) and the water sector, we are looking to grow our team If you have a background in EIA / HRA, whether that’s onshore, offshore or a bit of both, and offshore renewables / other major developments, and want to make an immediate and meaningful difference to the development of the offshore wind industry and the Haskoning team then please get in touch. Job Role: We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant with strong technical expertise in the consenting of offshore wind farms and related environmental assessments. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to take ownership of complex projects and contribute to the success of our growing offshore renewables team. In this role, you will: Deliver and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Habitats Regulations Assessments (HRA) for offshore wind projects, ensuring compliance with UK and international regulations. Manage project tasks and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality outputs. Engage directly with clients, regulators, and stakeholders, providing clear advice and building strong professional relationships. Support project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. Contribute to innovation in environmental assessment methodologies and help shape best practices within the offshore renewables sector. This role might be right for you if you have: Demonstratable experience in the delivery of EIAs and the consenting process, ideally for nationally significant infrastructure schemes and offshore wind, Experience in the post-consent project delivery Experience working with a variety of stakeholders Robust project management and financial management skills Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, analytical and time management skills Good interpersonal skills And if you are: Dependable, pro-active and self-motivated Flexible and adaptive / innovative What we can offer: Exciting.
